Chief Executive Signs Legislation to Disclose More Jeffrey Epstein Files After Months of Opposition

The President declared on Wednesday night that he had approved the legislation decisively approved by American lawmakers that instructs the justice department to disclose more records related to the deceased financier, the deceased pedophile.

The move arrives after months of pushback from the leader and his supporters in the legislature that divided his Maga base and caused divisions with various established backers.

The president had resisted making public the Epstein documents, calling the situation a "hoax" and railing against those who wanted to make the records accessible, despite promising their release on the campaign trail.

However he changed direction in the past few days after it become clear the legislative chamber would endorse the bill. Donald Trump commented: "Everything is transparent".

It's not clear what the agency will disclose in as a result of the legislation – the bill specifies a variety of various records that need to be disclosed, but allows exclusions for certain documents.

The President Signs Measure to Compel Release of More the financier Files

The legislation requires the top justice official to make non-classified Epstein-related records open for review "in an easily accessible digital format", encompassing each examination into Jeffrey Epstein, his associate his accomplice, travel documentation and journey documentation, people referenced or named in association with his offenses, institutions that were linked to his exploitation or money operations, exemption arrangements and additional legal settlements, official correspondence about legal actions, records of his confinement and demise, and details about potential document destruction.

The agency will have thirty days to submit the documents. The bill provides for some exceptions, encompassing removals of personal details of victims or individual documents, any descriptions of youth molestation, releases that would endanger current examinations or court proceedings and descriptions of demise or abuse.
