Fans anticipating the launch of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined don't need to wait too much longer. An exciting playable preview is set to become available on January 7th, offering a sizable look into the game's opening hours. Importantly, all progress earned within this demo can be carried over directly into the complete game upon its February release.

Beyond Just a Simple Remake: The Thorough Reimagining

This project represents a comprehensive reinterpretation of the iconic year 2000 RPG, originally known as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Taking a significant departure from recent Dragon Quest remakes, like the previously released HD-2D iterations, this version utilizes a charming 3D visual presentation. Environments are designed to resemble intricate model sets, with protagonists featuring a appealing chibi-esque look.

Major Gameplay Improvements & Modernizations

These alterations are aimed at address a key the original title's common criticisms: its immense length. The original adventure was known to require more than 100 hours to see through. The reimagined version was specifically reworked to enhance progression and cut down on perceived filler.
