Eulogies Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the couple.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he only now felt ready to express about his personal sorrow.

"Enough time has elapsed that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the production, adding that he cannot recall "one day without joy".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes expressed.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He concluded with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a separate tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the lead role.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked seamlessly with the cast, and he understood the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese added.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge agreed to prevent the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the LAPD.

A court order placed a security hold on the cases to limit the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" associated with the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a official listing listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the deaths, public individuals expressed divergent responses.

Former President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making divisive statements that were met with immediate backlash by numerous commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his voice to the critics last week. Speaking on his podcast, Rogan described the remarks as "disturbing" and remarked they showed a concerning deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan finished by proposing that an aide ought to have intervened when the decision to speak on the death was made.
